Pandora Mini BT + ScorpionTrack S5-VTS

The Mini BT stops it being driven. The S5-VTS knows if it moves without you

The smallest system, with driver-recognised recovery

The Mini BT runs from your original key and stops the engine for anybody without its Bluetooth tag, with nothing new to carry and nothing obvious to find. The S5-VTS adds Thatcham category S5 monitored tracking with its own Automatic Driver Recognition tag, so a control centre watches around the clock and knows the difference between you driving the car and somebody else.

  • Pandora Mini BT stops the car being driven
  • ScorpionTrack S5-VTS finds it if it is taken some other way
  • Notice a door, a shock or an attempt on the ignition, and ScorpionTrack S5-VTS's control centre already knows, and calls you

Why fit these two together

Linked, not just fitted side by side

Fit the Mini BT and the S5-VTS as this package and we link the two together at the fitting stage: if the Mini BT notices a door, a shock or an attempt on the ignition, the S5-VTS's control centre already knows about it as well, and will call you. That link is not a feature either product carries on its own out of the box, and it is not something you get by simply buying both separately.

Discreet prevention, watched recovery

The Mini BT hides in plain sight and works off a key you already carry. The S5-VTS adds a second, monitored layer that knows whether an authorised driver is present at all.

Answers S5 wording where the S7 will not

If your insurer has named Thatcham S5 specifically, this is the version of the Mini BT pairing that satisfies it, rather than the plain S7.

Two tags, two different jobs

The Mini BT's tag starts the car. The S5-VTS's Driver Recognition tag tells the control centre an authorised driver is present. Carrying both becomes routine within days.

Is the Mini BT + S5 package right for you?

Worth it for

Anybody who wants the Mini BT's discreet, key-based prevention plus Thatcham S5 driver-recognised monitored recovery, particularly where an insurer has specified S5 rather than S7.

Probably not for

Anybody whose policy only asks for Thatcham S7, or who has no tracking requirement. The S5-VTS is a genuine step up in capability and cost over the plain S7, worth it only when the extra driver recognition is actually needed.

Not sure which side of that you fall on? Tell us the make, model and year and what you are actually worried about, and we will tell you straight, including when the cheaper option is the right answer.

Ask us about your car

Professionally installed by Securacar

The Mini BT + S5 package is only as good as the install

The box is the same wherever you buy it. What changes is where it ends up in the car and how cleanly it is wired in, and that is the part a thief actually has to beat. It is most of what you are paying us for, so it is worth saying plainly.

On the Pandora Mini BT + ScorpionTrack S5-VTS: the Mini BT is set up in slave mode off your original key while the S5-VTS's own tag, aerial and app are configured alongside it, in the same visit. Making sure you know which tag does what before we leave matters as much as the fitting itself.

  • Fitted where you are

At your home or your workplace, across the North West. You hand the keys over at the start and get on with your day.

  • Hidden properly

The first thing a thief does is look for the unit. Where it goes is decided on your car, on the day, not copied from a diagram.

  • Shown how it works

Before we leave, you use it yourself with us stood there. Nobody drives off unsure which button does what.

  • TASSA approved

We are TASSA approved installers, which is a check on the people doing the work rather than on the box. It is the accreditation that exists precisely because a good system fitted badly is not a good system.

  • We are here afterwards

Questions a week later, or a year later, get answered. You are dealing with the person who fitted it, not a call centre.

Booking it

What happens if you go ahead

Four steps, no showroom visit and no deposit taken over the internet. Most people are booked in within a couple of minutes of picking up the phone.

  1. 01

    Tell us the car

Make, model and year, by phone, WhatsApp or the form below. We confirm the Mini BT + S5 is right for your vehicle before anything is booked, and we will say so if it is not.

  2. 02

We price it for your car

No two vehicles are the same job, so you get a price for yours rather than a figure off a list. It is the price you pay, and nothing is booked until you are happy with it.

  3. 03

    We come to you

At your home or your workplace, at a time that suits you, anywhere across the North West. You hand the keys over at the start and get on with your day.

  4. 04

You use it before we leave

We set it up with you, then watch you use it yourself. Nobody drives away unsure which button does what, and we are still here a year later if you have a question.

Mini BT + S5 questions

Does the control centre only find out once the car has actually been driven off?+

No, not with this package. We link the Mini BT to the S5-VTS when we fit them together, so if the Mini BT notices a door, a shock or an attempt on the ignition, the control centre already knows about it too and will call you to check, whether or not the car has actually gone anywhere yet.

Why the S5-VTS instead of the plain S7 with the Mini BT?+

Driver recognition. The S5-VTS carries its own tag and tells the control centre whether an authorised driver is present, which is what a Thatcham S5 policy specifically asks for. The plain S7 tracks the vehicle without that distinction.

Do I need to carry two tags now?+

Yes, the Mini BT's Bluetooth tag and the S5-VTS's Driver Recognition tag, and they do different jobs for different systems. Most people keep both on the same keyring and stop noticing within a week.

Does the Mini BT's immobiliser make the tracker's driver recognition pointless?+

No. The Mini BT stops the engine running. The S5-VTS's driver recognition is about what the control centre does if the car moves at all, including if it is taken by a route the Mini BT cannot stop.

Do I pay two subscriptions?+

Only one. The Mini BT carries no subscription, the same as any alarm or immobiliser we fit. The S5-VTS's monitoring is the only ongoing cost in this package, and we will tell you exactly what it is before you commit to anything.

Do you fit both in one visit?+

Yes. One booking, one visit, both systems fitted and explained before we leave. It is not two separate jobs on two separate days.

Can I have either one on its own instead?+

Yes, and we will say so if that is genuinely the better answer for your car. This package exists because the two together cover more ground than either does alone, not because we would rather sell you two things.
