Pandora Storm + ScorpionTrack S7

The Storm stops it being driven. The S7 finds it if it still goes.

Prevention and recovery, on almost any vehicle

The Storm stops the car being driven by anybody who cannot produce the tag, the code or the app, on almost any vehicle regardless of how it is wired. The S7 is there for everything the Storm cannot be: if the car is lifted onto a low loader, moved some other way entirely, or simply taken somewhere the Storm's protection is somehow beaten, a staffed control centre is already watching and already working on getting it back.

  • Pandora Storm stops the car being driven
  • ScorpionTrack S7 finds it if it is taken some other way
  • Notice an attempt on the ignition without the tag, the code or the app, and ScorpionTrack S7's control centre already knows, and calls you

Why fit these two together

Linked, not just fitted side by side

Fit the Storm and the S7 as this package and we link the two together at the fitting stage: if the Storm notices an attempt on the ignition without the tag, the code or the app, the S7's control centre already knows about it as well, and will call you. That link is not a feature either product carries on its own out of the box, and it is not something you get by simply buying both separately.

Two different failure modes, both covered

An immobiliser assumes the car has to be driven away under its own power. A tracker assumes it does not have to be. Fitting both means neither assumption is left unguarded.

The Storm's wiring reach matters here too

Because the Storm fits CAN bus, FD-CAN or old-school wiring, this pairing works on the older cars, vans and ATVs that a lot of alarm and tracker combinations simply cannot cover.

One satisfies the insurer, the other stops the theft

If your policy asks for a Thatcham S7 tracker, the S7 half answers that directly. The Storm is not there for the policy wording, it is there so the question rarely comes up in the first place.

Is the Storm + S7 package right for you?

Worth it for

Older vehicles, vans and ATVs where you want the car stopped from being driven and a monitored recovery option if it is taken some other way, and your insurer has asked for Thatcham S7 tracking specifically.

Probably not for

Anybody whose policy specifies Thatcham S5 rather than S7. The S7 half will not satisfy S5 wording, so check your policy first and we will match it, likely with the S5 version of this package instead.

Not sure which side of that you fall on? Tell us the make, model and year and what you are actually worried about, and we will tell you straight, including when the cheaper option is the right answer.

Ask us about your car

Professionally installed by Securacar

The Storm + S7 package is only as good as the install

The box is the same wherever you buy it. What changes is where it ends up in the car and how cleanly it is wired in, and that is the part a thief actually has to beat. It is most of what you are paying us for, so it is worth saying plainly.

On the Pandora Storm + ScorpionTrack S7: the two units want different things from the car: the Storm needs to be wired into whatever the vehicle actually has, CAN bus or traditional, and the S7's aerial needs enough sky to report accurately while staying hidden from a sweep. Both are planned on your specific vehicle in the same visit rather than treated as two separate jobs.

  • Fitted where you are

At your home or your workplace, across the North West. You hand the keys over at the start and get on with your day.

  • Hidden properly

The first thing a thief does is look for the unit. Where it goes is decided on your car, on the day, not copied from a diagram.

  • Shown how it works

Before we leave, you use it yourself with us stood there. Nobody drives off unsure which button does what.

  • TASSA approved

We are TASSA approved installers, which is a check on the people doing the work rather than on the box. It is the accreditation that exists precisely because a good system fitted badly is not a good system.

  • We are here afterwards

Questions a week later, or a year later, get answered. You are dealing with the person who fitted it, not a call centre.

Booking it

What happens if you go ahead

Four steps, no showroom visit and no deposit taken over the internet. Most people are booked in within a couple of minutes of picking up the phone.

  1. 01

    Tell us the car

Make, model and year, by phone, WhatsApp or the form below. We confirm the Storm + S7 is right for your vehicle before anything is booked, and we will say so if it is not.

  2. 02

We price it for your car

No two vehicles are the same job, so you get a price for yours rather than a figure off a list. It is the price you pay, and nothing is booked until you are happy with it.

  3. 03

    We come to you

At your home or your workplace, at a time that suits you, anywhere across the North West. You hand the keys over at the start and get on with your day.

  4. 04

You use it before we leave

We set it up with you, then watch you use it yourself. Nobody drives away unsure which button does what, and we are still here a year later if you have a question.

Storm + S7 questions

Does the control centre only find out once the car has actually been driven off?+

No, not with this package. We link the Storm to the S7 when we fit them together, so if the Storm notices an attempt on the ignition without the tag, the code or the app, the control centre already knows about it too and will call you to check, whether or not the car has actually gone anywhere yet.

Why fit an immobiliser and a tracker rather than just one?+

Because they do different jobs. The Storm's entire purpose is stopping the car being driven off in the first place. The S7's is finding it if it goes some other way, a low loader being the obvious one. Most theft prevention advice from insurers and police assumes exactly this layering rather than one box doing everything.

Does the Storm being fitted mean I do not need the tracker's monitoring?+

No, the two are not doing the same job. The Storm has no way of finding the car if it is taken by a method it cannot stop, and the S7 has no way of stopping the car being driven at all. Keeping the S7's subscription active is what keeps the recovery side of this working.

Will this satisfy my insurer?+

Possibly, depending on exactly what they have asked for. Send us your policy wording rather than a summary of it, and we will confirm whether the Storm, the S7, or both together are what is actually required before anything is booked.

Do I pay two subscriptions?+

Only one. The Storm carries no subscription, the same as any alarm or immobiliser we fit. The S7's monitoring is the only ongoing cost in this package, and we will tell you exactly what it is before you commit to anything.

Do you fit both in one visit?+

Yes. One booking, one visit, both systems fitted and explained before we leave. It is not two separate jobs on two separate days.

Can I have either one on its own instead?+

Yes, and we will say so if that is genuinely the better answer for your car. This package exists because the two together cover more ground than either does alone, not because we would rather sell you two things.
