This pairs the Light Pro with the S5+, a Thatcham S5 tracker that immobilises the vehicle itself if its own Driver Recognition tag is not present. The Light Pro's immobiliser tag and the S5+'s built-in immobilisation both stop the engine, independently of each other, which is more prevention than most vehicles need. We fit this where a policy specifically requires immobilisation inside the approved tracker, or where the redundancy is a deliberate choice.
Fit the Light Pro and the S5+ as this package and we link the two together at the fitting stage: if the Light Pro notices a door, a shock, a knock or an attempt on the ignition, the S5+'s control centre already knows about it as well, and will call you. That link is not a feature either product carries on its own out of the box, and it is not something you get by simply buying both separately.
Where you do not specifically need the tracker's own immobilisation, the S5-VTS alongside the Light Pro gives the same driver-recognised monitoring and the same siren, for less.
A specific requirement for tracker-based immobilisation is the clearest reason to choose this over the plain S5-VTS pairing.
Whatever is decided about the second immobiliser, the Light Pro's siren and sensors remain the deterrent layer that neither tracker option replaces.
