Nothing to find
77 by 12 by 5 millimetres, no cut wires and no mechanical relays. A thief hunting for the box under the dashboard is looking for something that is not there.
A silent digital immobiliser, about the size of a USB stick

Seventy seven millimetres long and completely silent. It will not shout at a thief or ring your phone, it will simply make sure the car does not move.
For your peace of mind
The Microbot is not an alarm, and it is worth being clear about that before anything else. It is a digital immobiliser: silent, with no siren and no sensors, and its only job is to make sure the car cannot be driven away by somebody who is not you. If your worry is waking up to an empty driveway rather than a scratched door, this is the system aimed at it.
It is 77 by 12 by 5 millimetres, roughly a USB stick, and it does its work digitally over the car's own data bus rather than by cutting into the wiring. There are no mechanical relays and no wires to find cut, which is most of the reason it is so difficult to defeat. A thief looking for a black box screwed under the dashboard will not find one, because there is not one to find.
You prove it is you in one of three ways: the Bluetooth tag in your pocket, a PIN you tap out on your own steering wheel buttons, or the app. It blocks four different things depending on how it is set up, including the automatic transmission and the keyless system, so a relayed or cloned key gets a thief no further than a stolen one would. Anti-HiJack is built in as well, for the rarer case where somebody tries to take the car while you are still in it.

77 by 12 by 5 millimetres, no cut wires and no mechanical relays. A thief hunting for the box under the dashboard is looking for something that is not there.
Tap a PIN out on the buttons your car already has. Nothing extra is fitted where anybody could see it, and there is nothing to carry if you would rather not.
Keep the Bluetooth tag in your pocket and the car authorises itself as you approach. The app does the same job if you would rather use your phone.
The engine, the engine start, the automatic transmission and the keyless system. Which ones we set up depends on your car, and we will talk it through.
Copying your key signal off the doorstep gets a thief into the car and no further. The Microbot is not interested in the key, it is interested in whether you authorised it.
Anti-HiJack is built in, for the rarer and far nastier case where somebody tries to take the car with you still there.

Older immobilisers cut a wire and put a relay in the gap, which works, but it leaves a lump of hardware sat in the loom for anyone who knows the product to go looking for.
The Microbot does not touch a wire at all. It sits on the car's own CAN network and answers the authorisation request the car already makes every time you press start. Without the right answer, the car simply does not let the engine run, exactly as if something had failed on its own.
That is also why the install leaves nothing behind. Nothing is spliced in, there is no module to rip back out, and it does not show up as an added device on a diagnostic tool.

The Bluetooth tag in your pocket, a PIN tapped out on your own steering wheel buttons, or the phone app. Which one you use is up to you, and it can change later without a refit.
Most people end up on the tag, because there is nothing to type and nothing to remember, and the car behaves exactly as it always has. The PIN suits anybody who would rather carry nothing extra at all.

Engine block, engine start block, keyless block and automatic transmission blocking, and they are worth telling apart because they defeat different attacks.
Engine block and engine start block stop the car turning over at all. Keyless block is the one that matters against relay theft: your key signal can be copied perfectly and it still gets nobody anywhere. Automatic transmission blocking keeps the gearbox out of drive, so a car left running cannot simply be selected and driven off.
Which of the four apply depends on what your particular vehicle exposes over CAN. Tell us the make, model and year and we will confirm exactly what we can block before you book, rather than after.
Anybody whose real fear is the car being driven off the drive overnight, and who wants the protection to be genuinely undiscoverable.
Somebody who wants a siren, sensors and alerts on their phone. The Microbot is silent and will never tell you anything is happening. That is a Smart Pro or an Elite.
Not sure which side of that you fall on? Tell us the make, model and year and what you are actually worried about, and we will tell you straight, including when the cheaper option is the right answer.
Ask us about your carEverything the Microbot is capable of. You will not use all of it, and that is fine. Ask us which parts actually matter on your car.
Specification per the manufacturer. Exact features can vary by vehicle and by version, so we will confirm what applies to yours before fitting.
Professionally installed by Securacar
The box is the same wherever you buy it. What changes is where it ends up in the car and how cleanly it is wired in, and that is the part a thief actually has to beat. It is most of what you are paying us for, so it is worth saying plainly.
On the Pandora Microbot: the unit is 77 by 12 by 5 millimetres, which means the hiding place genuinely is the product. It blocks the car over the data bus rather than through a cut wire, so a careful install leaves nothing at all for somebody to find and follow.
At your home or your workplace, across the North West. You hand the keys over at the start and get on with your day.
The first thing a thief does is look for the unit. Where it goes is decided on your car, on the day, not copied from a diagram.
Before we leave, you use it yourself with us stood there. Nobody drives off unsure which button does what.
We are TASSA approved installers, which is a check on the people doing the work rather than on the box. It is the accreditation that exists precisely because a good system fitted badly is not a good system.
Questions a week later, or a year later, get answered. You are dealing with the person who fitted it, not a call centre.
Booking it
Four steps, no showroom visit and no deposit taken over the internet. Most people are booked in within a couple of minutes of picking up the phone.
Make, model and year, by phone, WhatsApp or the form below. We confirm the Microbot is right for your vehicle before anything is booked, and we will say so if it is not.
No two vehicles are the same job, so you get a price for yours rather than a figure off a list. It is the price you pay, and nothing is booked until you are happy with it.
At your home or your workplace, at a time that suits you, anywhere across the North West. You hand the keys over at the start and get on with your day.
We set it up with you, then watch you use it yourself. Nobody drives away unsure which button does what, and we are still here a year later if you have a question.
The detail, if you want it
Older immobilisers cut a wire and put a relay in it, which is findable: a thief who knows the model knows roughly where to look and what to bridge. The Microbot instead speaks to the car over its own data bus and refuses to let the engine run. There is no cut wire and no relay, so there is nothing obvious to trace, which is most of why it is so hard to defeat.
Engine block, engine start block, automatic transmission block and keyless block. In plain terms: the engine will not run, it will not start without authorisation, the gearbox will not select drive, and a relayed or cloned key gets nowhere. Which of them we set up depends on your vehicle, and we will tell you which apply to yours rather than promising all four.
You tap a sequence on buttons the car already has. Nothing is fitted where anybody can see it and there is no keypad glued to the dashboard. You choose the sequence, and if you would rather not enter anything at all, the Bluetooth tag in your pocket does the same job as you walk up.
They set out to do the same thing: stop the car being driven, silently, with nothing for a thief to find. The Microbot adds tag and app authorisation alongside the PIN, and can block the transmission and keyless system as well as the engine. Which we would fit depends on your vehicle. Our explainer on the Ghost covers the other side of that comparison.
It means no siren, no sensors and no notifications, ever. If somebody leans on the car, tries a door or takes a wheel, the Microbot will not know and will not tell you. It has one job and it does it completely. If you want to be told things, you want an alarm instead, and we would rather you knew that before buying.
Yes. It holds Thatcham CAT 2e approval, certificate TSC741. Check the exact wording your insurer uses rather than assuming, since insurers do not all ask for the same category, and send it to us before you commit to anything.
No, and this is the thing worth understanding before you buy one. There is no siren, there are no sensors and it will not send you a notification. It is a digital immobiliser, so its entire job is making sure the car cannot be driven. If you want to be told when somebody leans on the car or tries a door, you want a Smart Pro or an Elite instead.
They set out to do the same thing: stop the car being driven, silently, with nothing for a thief to find. The Microbot is authorised by a Bluetooth tag, a PIN on your steering wheel buttons or its app, and can block the automatic transmission and the keyless system as well as the engine. Which of the two we would fit depends on your vehicle. Tell us the make, model and year and we will give you a straight answer.
It is 77 by 12 by 5 millimetres and it works over the car's own data bus, so there are no relays and no cut wires giving it away. Nothing is certain in security, but there is very little here to find and nothing obvious to look for, and where we hide it is a large part of what you are paying us for.
No. It works over Bluetooth and there is no SIM in it, so there is nothing to pay monthly. That also means it cannot track the car or tell you anything from a distance, which is the trade you are making.
We fit both, and which one goes on your car is our problem rather than yours. The CAN version uses two CAN FD connections and the LIN version uses one LIN bus and one CAN bus, and the right choice comes down to how your particular vehicle is wired. Tell us the make, model and year and we will have already worked it out before we turn up.
Most cars from the last fifteen years or so, yes, but it does depend on the make, model and year. Send us those three things and we will confirm before you commit to anything.
At your home or your workplace, anywhere across the North West. You hand over the keys at the start, we show you how it works at the end, and you get on with your day in between.
What we fit is designed to sit alongside your car's own electronics and we do not cut into anything we should not. Manufacturers word their warranties differently though, so it is worth a quick check with your dealer first. We are happy to talk it through.
Tell us what you drive and where you are, and we will come back to you the same day where we can.
We will ring you back shortly. If it is urgent, give us a call and we will pick up.
A full alarm, tracker and immobiliser
If you want to be told when something happens, rather than only to stop the car moving, this is the step. It adds the siren, the sensors, GPS tracking and the app. It is a bigger job and a bigger spend.
Also considerThe other silent immobiliser we fit
The closest thing to the Microbot in what it achieves: silent, hidden, and a code before the car will drive. Which one suits you comes down to your vehicle and how you want to authorise it. Ask us and we will tell you which we would fit on yours.
Also considerFor older cars, vans and ATVs
The Microbot needs a CAN or LIN connection, which not every vehicle has. The Storm does the same job but is built to fit older, non-CAN wiring as well, so it reaches vehicles the Microbot cannot.
We fit the Microbot across Liverpool, Manchester, Wirral, Cheshire, Warrington, Chester and the rest of the North West. Call 07841 331441 or message us on WhatsApp.
