It satisfies the insurer
The Smart Pro is Thatcham approved, and the siren supplied with it is a large part of why. If your policy has asked for an approved alarm, this is the one in the range to look at.
A full alarm, tracker and immobiliser you run from your phone

The one most families end up with. Everything you actually use day to day, run from the phone already in your pocket, without paying for extras that stay switched off.
For your peace of mind
The Smart Pro is the one most people land on, and for good reason. It is a full alarm, an immobiliser and a GPS tracker in a single hidden unit, and you run all of it from the app on the phone that is already in your pocket. There is no second fob to carry, charge or lose, which for most families is the difference between a system they use and a system they ignore.
It talks to you over 4G, so an alert reaches your phone while somebody is still stood on the drive rather than at seven the next morning. There is a GSM module in it as well, which means it can ring you and text up to three numbers if the data connection is not the quickest route. Bluetooth 5.0 handles the close range work through an authorisation tag that is built to resist jamming, and GPS covers where the car is, where it has been and how it was driven.
The list of things it watches for is longer than most people expect: doors, bonnet and boot, signal jammers being used nearby, somebody swapping the ECU or the ignition switch, a key being duplicated, the car being towed or lifted, a wheel coming off, a knock in a car park, and an accident. Disconnect the battery and a backup siren keeps going. On the everyday side it will start the engine remotely, with the immobiliser bypass built into the unit so you never have to hand over a spare key, and it will run independent heating over the CAN bus on a frosty morning.

Lock, unlock, check and control the car from the app. No second fob to carry, charge or lose.
Movement, tilting, glass, a door opening. Whatever happens, your phone knows about it immediately. If it matters enough, it will ring you.
Signal jammers, a duplicated key, somebody swapping the ECU or the ignition switch. The Smart Pro is watching for the methods actually being used.
See where the car is, where it has been and how it was driven. As useful in a multi storey as it is if the worst happens.
The Bluetooth tag in your pocket is what tells the car it is really you. It is built to resist the jamming a thief would try first.
Start it from the kitchen on a cold morning. The immobiliser bypass is built in, so you never hand over a spare key to make it work.
For iOS and Android

Monitor, control and track your car in real time, from the phone already in your pocket. The apps are built for both Android and iOS, and they work with most smartwatches too.
Lock the system down or open it up from wherever you happen to be, without reaching for a fob.
Start the engine from the app and get into a car that is already warm and clear.
Engine temperature, fuel level and battery voltage, all on one screen without going outside to look.
Family cars and vans that live on the driveway and get used every day.
Somebody who wants a physical remote in their hand, or the deeper telemetry and dual antennas of the Elite.
Not sure which side of that you fall on? Tell us the make, model and year and what you are actually worried about, and we will tell you straight, including when the cheaper option is the right answer.
Ask us about your carEverything the Smart Pro is capable of. You will not use all of it, and that is fine. Ask us which parts actually matter on your car.
Specification per the manufacturer. Exact features can vary by vehicle and by version, so we will confirm what applies to yours before fitting.
Professionally installed by Securacar
The box is the same wherever you buy it. What changes is where it ends up in the car and how cleanly it is wired in, and that is the part a thief actually has to beat. It is most of what you are paying us for, so it is worth saying plainly.
On the Pandora Smart Pro: the control unit, the siren and the antenna all want different positions, and the siren in particular is worth arguing about, because a siren somebody can reach in ten seconds is decoration. We pick those spots on your car, not from a template.
At your home or your workplace, across the North West. You hand the keys over at the start and get on with your day.
The first thing a thief does is look for the unit. Where it goes is decided on your car, on the day, not copied from a diagram.
Before we leave, you use it yourself with us stood there. Nobody drives off unsure which button does what.
We are TASSA approved installers, which is a check on the people doing the work rather than on the box. It is the accreditation that exists precisely because a good system fitted badly is not a good system.
Questions a week later, or a year later, get answered. You are dealing with the person who fitted it, not a call centre.
Booking it
Four steps, no showroom visit and no deposit taken over the internet. Most people are booked in within a couple of minutes of picking up the phone.
Make, model and year, by phone, WhatsApp or the form below. We confirm the Smart Pro is right for your vehicle before anything is booked, and we will say so if it is not.
No two vehicles are the same job, so you get a price for yours rather than a figure off a list. It is the price you pay, and nothing is booked until you are happy with it.
At your home or your workplace, at a time that suits you, anywhere across the North West. You hand the keys over at the start and get on with your day.
We set it up with you, then watch you use it yourself. Nobody drives away unsure which button does what, and we are still here a year later if you have a question.
The detail, if you want it
Thatcham Research test and categorise security products for the insurance industry, and insurers refer to those categories in policy wording. The Smart Pro is approved, and the siren supplied with it is a large part of why. What matters is that your policy's exact words are satisfied, so send us the wording rather than the summary. We have written up what insurers actually mean by these terms.
It is the difference between a system that tells you something happened and one that interrupts it happening. A siren going off on a driveway at two in the morning changes a thief's calculation immediately. It is also the component that separates the Smart Pro from the Smart below it, and the reason one is Thatcham approved and the other is not.
The car is not asking whether your key is genuine, it is asking whether an encrypted Bluetooth tag is nearby. Copying the key signal off your doorstep therefore gets somebody into the car and no further. The relay attack itself is worth understanding if this is your main worry, because it explains why key based protection alone stopped being enough.
There is a SIM in the unit, because the tracking, the alerts and the app all travel over a mobile network. That carries an ongoing cost. We would rather set it out plainly at the quote than let you discover it later, and we will tell you if what you actually need does not justify it.
Only if you want a two way remote in your hand, or the deeper vehicle integration the Elite offers on a well equipped car. For most family cars the Smart Pro is the sensible end of that conversation, and we will say so rather than sell you up. We compare the two properly here.
Both are a full alarm, tracker and immobiliser in one. The Elite adds a two way OLED remote on long range radio, dual GPS and GSM antennas, wifi positioning for underground car parks, and up to four CAN bus connections including CAN FD. The Smart Pro covers the same core job and is run from your phone. For most family cars the Smart Pro is plenty, and we will say so.
Yes. It is Thatcham approved, and the siren that comes as part of the system is a large part of why. If your insurer has asked specifically for a Thatcham approved alarm, this is the one in the range to be looking at. Send us the exact wording your policy uses and we will confirm what we fit meets it before anything is ordered, because insurers word these requirements differently from one another.
Yes. GPS positioning, full drive history and the virtual garage are all part of it, viewed in the app or the web interface. That is one of the main things it has over the simpler systems in the range.
The tracking, alerts and app control all run over a mobile connection, so there is a SIM in the unit. We will go through exactly how that is set up and what it costs before you commit to anything, so there are no surprises later.
No. The immobiliser bypass is built into the unit, so nothing of yours has to be surrendered or left behind for remote start to work.
Most cars from the last fifteen years or so, yes, but it does depend on the make, model and year. Send us those three things and we will confirm before you commit to anything.
At your home or your workplace, anywhere across the North West. You hand over the keys at the start, we show you how it works at the end, and you get on with your day in between.
What we fit is designed to sit alongside your car's own electronics and we do not cut into anything we should not. Manufacturers word their warranties differently though, so it is worth a quick check with your dealer first. We are happy to talk it through.
Tell us what you drive and where you are, and we will come back to you the same day where we can.
We will ring you back shortly. If it is urgent, give us a call and we will pick up.
The full package, with a two way remote
Adds an OLED remote control on long range radio, dual GPS and GSM antennas, wifi positioning and up to four CAN buses. Worth it on a high value car. On a family hatchback it is capability you will not open the app to use.
Step down toThe same app, one step down
Alarm, GPS tracking and the same Pandora Connect app for less. The difference that matters is the siren, which the Smart does not come with, and that is why it is not Thatcham approved. If your insurer has not asked for that, it may well be all you need.
We fit the Smart Pro across Liverpool, Manchester, Wirral, Cheshire, Warrington, Chester and the rest of the North West. Call 07841 331441 or message us on WhatsApp.
