This policy explains what Securacar Ltd does with the information you send us through this website. The short version is that we use it to reply to you about your vehicle, and nothing else.
Who we are

What we collect
When you use the callback form on this site, we ask for your name, phone number, vehicle and postcode, plus anything you choose to write in the message box. We also record which page of the site the form was sent from, so we know what you were reading when you got in touch.
That is all we collect. There is no account to create, and we do not ask for anything we do not need to ring you back.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your details to respond to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to arrange and carry out the work. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you contacted us asking for a reply, and replying is what you would reasonably expect.
We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not send marketing. If you do not go ahead, you will not hear from us again.
Who sees it
Your enquiry is emailed to us and read by us. We use the following service providers to make that happen:
- Vercel, who host this website and process the form submission
- Resend, who deliver the email containing your enquiry
Both act on our instructions. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to twelve months, so we can pick up the thread if you come back to us. Where we carry out work, we keep the job record for six years, which is the period during which a claim could be brought and a customer might reasonably need us to confirm what was fitted.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies and runs no third party advertising or tracking scripts. There is more detail on our cookie policy page.
If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation happens inside WhatsApp and is governed by Meta's own privacy terms as well as ours. We can see the messages you send us in the same way any WhatsApp user can. We do not export or process those conversations elsewhere.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy
- Have inaccurate information corrected
- Ask us to delete it
- Object to us using it
- Ask us to restrict how we use it
To do any of these, email info@securacarltd.com. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
